Millwright (2349-046)

Brandt Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility is currently seeking a Millwright. Responsibilities include: * Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications * Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, and repair of machinery * Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment * Inspect/diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment * Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery * Work in an environment where the products and jobs are continually changing * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: * 10 years practical experience in the millwright trade in an industrial/mining environment * Must have a Journeypersons certificate from a recognized trade school * Must have solid working knowledge of mechanical drives and assemblies * Excellent understanding of blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures * Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as pumps and gearboxes * Proven ability to lead a team of skilled mechanics in a shop or customer site environment * Strong ability to teach and train apprentices and other staff * Proven experience working beside and communicating with high-profile customers * Successful candidate may need to work shift work/overtime and on customer sites.
