Price: $7,999 Stock Number: AC1891A The Bigfoot 6x6 was produced from 1997 to 2006. It is powered by a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 18hp air-cooled engine mated to the Argo Generation I planetary differential transmission with high/low forward, neutral and reverse that was available in three different factory installed gear ratios, GU (Low), MU (Medium) and HU (High). To determine the models transmission ratio, locate the two letter designation to the left of transmission dipstick, the multi-digit number is the transmissions serial number. The Bigfoot 6x6 featured Goodyear Rawhide III 25x12-9 (635 mm) 2 ply tires. The Goodyear tires have since been discontinued and are replaceable with the Argo / Carlisle designed 25x12-9 #127-182 tire that offers better traction, swim capability and offers a 4 ply rating. The biggest change came in 2005 when Argo upgraded the steering from individual pull levers to MX handlebar style giving the driver a traditional hand brake and increased driver stabilization in rough terrain. A skid plate, front bearing extensions and hitch came standard. Options included an alternator kit. The Bigfoot was discontinued after the 2006 model year. The Bigfoot 6x6 is powered by a 4-stroke OHV V-Twin air-cooled 570cc, 18 hp (13.4 kW) Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine on all model years and uses maintenance kit # M-202. It has a load capacity of up to 700 lb. / 317 kg on land and 350 lb. / 158 kg capacity on water. It can transport 4 passengers on land, 2 on water and features towing capacity of 1400 lb. / 635 kg.
