Here is a 1930/40's Spalding J5-V pigskin leather InterCollegiate Football , in very good condition , with original bladder still holding good air pressure after all these years . The lacing as seen is tight , with the Spalding stitching around it , and below it is the traditional Spalding logo denoting the ball as being Official for professional play . To the right below this logo are printed the words ' Lock Stitched ' , which would be helpful in more accurately dating the year of manufacture . The panels above and below the lacing have faint signs of either the teams involved on game day , or the winning college as well . These markings appear to have been professionally imprinted on the ball . These old footballs are difficult to find in such great condition , and are highly sought after on various collectors of football memorabilia sites, and they can go for very high prices if you check it out . We are offering this fine football for $125.00 ~plus shipping charges from British Columbia . Please call Victoria 250-382-8185 , or reply here if interested. Thank you .
